So this week was change week! I don't have changes and neither does my companion so that is really nice cause I am staying in the same area with the same person I am already used to. Plus their are still more things I felt like I needed to do in this area so here is the chance that I have to do it.
This week we did a super cool serving project. We helped a member lay a bunch of cement to make a patio. It was super cool and hard work. I have good pics that I will be sending next week cause this cyber cafe does not work for sending pictures. But it was sweet we mixed the cement and did everything. Also I have pictures of a couple of the less active members that we have been helping that I will be sending next week.
To be honest this week was just a normal week, we went out worked and taught and found new people to teach and are helping to strengthen the group here in Benque, my area, and everything is going well. I am just moving forward and doing my best here in the mission. I cant even believe that another change has come to an end, and tomorrow I am starting a new one. I love all of you guys. I am super glad that I am here and that you all are doing your own thing and whatever.
Also I want to just talk a little bit about how happy these people here are. Most of them dont have much but they are very happy. I met one lady today who is pretty poor and we were talking to her for the first time and she was telling me how she is poor but is happy and has her family and everything she needs. She said something that really made me think. She asked me, "Why am I going to want a plate of rice if I am not hungry?" I just thought to myself like wow this lady literally has her food for the day and that is it. These people are some of the happiest people I have ever met in my entire life. I love Belize and love my mission. I will talk to you guys more next week!
