Hey everyone, all is well here in Dangriga. I feel pretty out of place here to be honest cause the people are so different. I feel like I am culture shocked right now. Everyone here speaks English and Gariffina. Which is some African language and I don't understand a word of it, but that's ok cause everyone talks to me in English. But yeah everything is cool here. The people are pretty crazy but that's just the culture.
There was a hurricane that passed through so I actually didn't get here to Dangriga till this past Friday. It wasn't super crazy but it was pretty crazy. We stayed in Belmopan cause its far away from the water its the capital of Belize in the center of the country. At night I could hear the wind going pretty nuts outside haha and it messed up a few houses. The next day we went out and helped people all day just clean up branches and things like that. We were service missionaries for a day. That was cool too. Here wasn't too messed up actually, we helped some people clean up there houses here as well and it was a good experience and good way to find people to teach.
These two days and some change that I have had here have gone well. I really do like this area and the people here are great and willing to listen to the gospel. I am super excited to be here and to work with there people.
Not too much else happened this week, just stuff with the hurricane and I am getting to know the area here. But the gospel is still true here in Dangriga and I am going to preach it to everyone here so that they can accept it or not. I love my mission I love my savior and am so greatful for the oppurtunity I have to be here and be serving such a special group of people.
I hope you all have a great week!
