family and friends
Hello everyone, this week was a great week, their are a couple things especially that I would like to mention that happened this week.
One of them is changes, I mentioned it last week. My new companion is awesome, he is from Guatemala and has been out for about 9 months. He is cool and we are working well together. Honestly I like the 2 new missionaries that came in a lot the house is a lot funner to be in with them. We all get along well.
This week was a little weird cause there was a carnival in Belize city to kick off independence day that will be happening this Wednesday. So not a ton of people were home. That made it a bit harder to work. Hopefully after this week everything will settle down and be back to normal. But we were able to get a lot of good things done still. As a zone we had a goal for each companionship to find 10 new investigators, and all of the companionship's met and exceeded that goal! So that is really nice to see. It it always a rewarding feeling to set and meet goals.
The biggest thing that happened this week had to do with Edgar. So before he was baptized we talked about tithing with him and he committed to pay tithing. And the missionaries here in Dangriga, we do pretty much everything. So as part of that we with the branch president enter and count and receive the tithing. And yesterday Edgar payed tithing. For me that was a huge moment for me, seeing someone that I had seen receive the gospel exercise the faith to pay tithing. I know that he will receive many blessings for that. It was a really precious moment for me.
Well, time is just moving right along. I am happy and doing well. I hope all of you have a great day and remember to always do your best to choose the right and be happy!
