I have some news, I am leaving the island tomorrow and heading to Dangriga! Which is another place here in Belize. From what I hear the people there talk like straight Krail and Gariffina. Gariffina is an African language. So we will see how this goes. I am excited its always cool to see new places. Its a really far bus ride though, 3 hours in a bus and 1.5 hours before that on the boat off of the island. So that should be fun.
This week we found a really cool guy named Frank. He is kinda oldish but really nice and willing to learn about the gospel. His house is tiny but super beautiful, I will always remember this guys house. Its like lavander purple with a little sitting area outside. Absolutely gorgoes. I want a little patio like that when I am older. he is super cool, told us on saturday that he would come to church on sunday but he didnt show up, the next missionaries will go and keep working with him though and who knows maybe he will someday accept the gospel.
Also sent a picture with my plaque and a couple guys in the ocean. I wanna explain a bit about that. One of the guys there I gave him a book of mormon then he actually came to church. He is living in the area of the other missionaries so they have been teaching him. He is super nice and cool. He asked us the day I took that picture if we could help him with something. And we are missionaries so we were like sure we can help u what do you need. Then he asked us to come by the next morning and help him build the foundation that he was building in the water haha. We told him we couldnt cause we cant swim :( But it was really funny. Would have been the best service project ever.
Well I love you all. I will definately have more to say next week with a new area and all but for now I think thats about it. I want to end by saying that I truly loved my time here on the island. I am sad to leave but thats the way it is. I had so many good experiences this change and I worked really hard and really well. I plan to do the same the rest of my mission. Not that I will be perfect cause all of us are always imperfect and we make mistakes and everything but I will keep working hard cause I am seeing the blessings in how I am changing and especially in my family. I love you family you guys are the best and thanks for all your love and support.
