Buenas Dias family and friends,
This week was a good week. I have come to believe that every week is a good week, some are just better than others but something good always happens. Here are a couple good things that happened this week
1.) we got 2 more callings assigned here in the branch. Xiomara, my recent convert, was assigned to be the 1st counselor in the relief society. We also had another member called as a Sunday school teacher. So the branch is getting more organized which is really good.
2.) An investigator named Julie, who hadnt come to church in a long time like 2 months, came to church yesterday and enjoyed it and I could tell that she really felt the spirit. And I dont know if I mentioned this before, but she has a problem with the word of wisdom. So we gave her a CD with about 25 hymns on it for her to listen to when she is tempted to smoke or drink or do drugs.
Those are the 2 main good things that happened this week, I am doing well and am grateful for the love and support that everyone back at home gives me and also the love and support that I receive here. The people here, some of them, are really loving. A man that we teach, his name is Bro Delio, gave us a bunch of oranges yesterday. He has a field that he has orange trees on and so he gave us a couple bags of oranges and I was really grateful for that.
Well I hope all of you have a wonderful week. This next week there are transfers, so next week I will have some news on that. Its very possible that I will be coming back to El Salvador next week but who knows. Until next week!
