Hey family and friends how are you all doing this fine day? I am doing very well. This week was very special because we had the opportunity to listen to general conference! I have never gotten more out of general conference before than I did this general conference. The messages that were shared truly were inspired of God and were for US. I especially enjoyed the last talk by Holland. He said something that really touched my heart. He said, "Heaven is cheering you on today and forever". I want all of you to think about that for a second. heaven is cheering us on! God wants us to succeed, and so do all of the people in the heavens! Everyone knows that life is not easy, that their are challenges in every form, physically, mentally, spiritually, and emotionally. But when we trust in God and in the Saviors atonement and constantly hold in mind that heaven is, "cheering us on", we can have the steady strength to keep going.
On my mission one of the big things I have learned is the difference between doing things the best we can and just simply doing things. Think about how we have our whole lives, whether its 10 years or 100 years, or 102 years, :) To make choices and choose the quality of life that we want to live. That does not mean that we are perfect, or should be self critical, or try harder than we can, it means that we can and should give a consistent effort to live high quality lives. I want a high quality life.
That's why I am here on a mission, because here I know that I am learning and will continue to learn things that will bless my life temporally and spiritually. Read mosiah 2 41 its one of my favorite scriptures. So that is a little piece of my mind for you guys. Their are a lot of other things I learned and liked from conference but I will go off on those another time. I love this church, I love the gospel, I know that Jesus lives and loves me too, the spirit whispers this to me and tells me it is true and tells me it is true.
