Hey Family and Friends, this week was a great week!
So some big news this week, I saw my current mission president for the last time this past week. President and Sister Hintze will be finishing up their mission this change and President and Sister Adams will be coming in. I just want to take a minute and say how greatful I am for the Hintzes. They have done so much for me and all the missionaries and people here in El Salvador and Belize.
Here in my area things are honestly the same. Its a smaller area and its hard to find people to teach and get people to come to church. The number of people that came to church today shot up so that was very rewarding for me to see.
We visited three less active families this past Saturday and all three came to church yesterday so that was super awesome. I also set up the sacrament, blessed it, gave a talk, and taught a lesson in church yesterday so that was cool.
I am learning a lot here on my mission but I think the thing I am learning the most right now it patience. Patience with my area, with the people, with my companion, and with myself. Cause this change has been hard.
Also big news! This last week I hit my official year mark in my mission! WHOOOOOOOO!!!! I left June 10th 2015 and now it is June 13th 1016. What an accomplishment that is.
But anyways I love you guys. I appreciate all of you and thanks for all that you do. Know that I love each and every single one of you. Also if you are reading this I would love to get a short email and hear from you guys.
The church is true and the gospel is real. I would not be able to have been out here for so long without divine help and protection from my Heavenly Father. Remember always that God loves you. That he cares about you and wants whats best for you. That you can pray to Him and he will listen and answer your prayers.
Always have goals and work towards accomplishing them. When we have goals we have direction.
I hope all of you have a great week, I will have more news next week on changes and more pics! love you!
