Well I cant believe it. Another week has passed by. The time is literally flying idk where the time goes. Sitting here writing I feel like i just was here writing. Anyways this week was a great week lemme tell you all a little about it.
So this week I officially completed 6 months from the day I left home. I left on June 10, 2015 and so this week on December 10 I lit a tie on fire! It's called bumping. When you hit 6 months you bump. It was super awesome. I sprayed the tie with bug spray, bought a lighter for 50 cents,(gotta love El Salvador) then lit one of my ties on fire because its a tradition and because it was fun. Their are pictures if you would like to see.
Also this week we had a baptism service for a 9 year old girl named Pamella! Her family are members but her Dad couldnt baptize her until this saturday because he had some problems and couldnt. But we taught her the lessons and did everything to help her get ready and she got baptized this past saturday! Shes super awesome and I know that her family will help her along her way to become more like oiur Savior Jesus Christ. Also pictures if you would like to see. But really it was a great experience to teach her and to help her along her way to this point. Also to work with her Dad in getting his life right so he could baptize her daughter. I love helping and serving the people here of El Savlador.
Also this week, saturday, we had an activity at the temple. The temple here does not have a visitors center so the missionaries and mission president and his wife put on a more or less visitors activity where people learn more and have oppurtunities to come and walk around and be around the temple. It is super cool and was a great experience. Its all about serving others people. When we serve others and forget about ourselves we are happy. This is something that I am learning and will continue to learn on my mission and throughout the rest of my life. I love my Heavenly Father and I know he loves me and every single person here in El Salvador and in this entire world. He wants the best for us, that is why he sent His son Jesus Christ to atone for our sins. I know this church is true and I love this gospel. I love teaching these people and inviting and helping others to come unto Christ.
I hope all of you this week can remember to serve others a little more, their are blessings that come through willing service!
With love,
